The momentum keeps building for Taurus Insurance as 2019 proved to be another highly successful year for the lifestyle insurance specialist, after it saw the number of devices insured over a 12-month period top one million for the first time.
James Cottrell, a Taurus founder and its managing director, said:
“Over the years we’ve insured millions of devices, but this is the first time we’ve hit a million phones and gadgets covered in a single year. We’re particularly proud to have reached this within eight years of launching our unique phone and gadget insurance proposition which we feel really sets us apart from the competition.”
Alongside this milestone, Taurus also saw its annual turnover move into double figures, breaking the £10million mark. And the achievements don’t stop there as during 2019 Taurus also launched its travel insurance proposition as well as partner with the Post Office on its phone and gadget insurance provision.
James continued:
“While it’s great to reflect on our achievements in 2019 we’re certainly not losing any momentum as our team continues to drive the business forward to achieve even more in 2020.”
